‘Beautiful mum’ found dead in seaside town

Tributes have been paid to a “beautiful daughter, sister, mother and auntie” who died in Clacton, Essex. Rachel Dixon, 49, passed away after sustaining serious injuries in Skelmersdale Road, a residential street near the town’s railway station, on 21 March.

She was given CPR at the scene but was pronounced dead shortly after ambulance crews arrived at 11.30am.

Rachel’s family paid tribute to her today, saying she will be “greatly missed.”

“Our beautiful daughter, sister, mother and auntie, who will be greatly missed by all, was taken away from us far too soon,” they said. “Please respect our privacy at this time.”
